Children normally transfer to secondary school at the end of Year 6 when they are 11. We recommend parents to make more than one choice as there is no guarantee of admission to your first choice school.   Admission criteria do vary. Year 6 tests are taken in November/December and results are sent to Wandsworth secondary schools who use them when making individual offers. You may appeal against any decision to refuse your child admission to a secondary school.

Information about secondary schools is provided in the autumn term, when parents are invited to discuss their choice of schools with the Head teacher and attend meetings organised by the school and Wandsworth Local Education Authority.
